1,000 delegates likely to attend TiEcon 2017
KOCHI: Over 1,000 delegates are expected to participate in the Sixth edition ‘TiEcon Kerala 2017’, rated as one of the biggest conference on entrepreneurships in the state. The conference will be held on November 10 and 11 in Kochi. Rajesh Nair, president, TiE Kerala, told reporters on Thursday that the theme of the of the conference is ‘Kerala-An entrepreneurial destination.’ Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is expected to address the gathering of entrepreneurs, investors, start-up companies and senior professionals from across India during the inaugural session.
“Kerala is set for a transformation as the premium entrepreneurial destination. The effort is now to leverage the synergies between prominent educational and research institutions in the state and the developments in various industry sectors”, Mr Nair said. Industry leaders, decision makers, Start-up entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs and student entrepreneurs will participate in the event, he said. More than 100 speakers from India and abroad will address over 40 sessions.
