Visakhapatnam: Three persons of a family have been found dead in a well at Chinthalapalem village in Srungavarapukota Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district.
As per Kottavalasa police, the family, comprising Md. Mohinuddin (46), Sharisha Nisha (39) and Fatima Zahara (18), are residents of Marripalem area in Visakhapatnam.
The three jumped into a well in Chinthalapalem village on Monday around 7 a.m.
Their bodies were discovered on Tuesday.
According to Kottavalasa circle inspector Chandrasekhar, Mohinuddin, his wife and daughter reached Chinthalapalem village after hiring a car from Visakhapatnam. They asked the car driver to wait on the road while they visit their field. However, before the three jumped into the well, Mohinuddin sent a message to his son Ali (19), sharing their location and mentioning details of their assets.
The driver, who was waiting on the road, called the family for a long time. But the family did not answer the phone. He waited till 9 a.m. and went back to Vizag.
On receiving the message from his father, Mohinuddin came in search of his family and found the bodies of his parents and sister in the well.
Police registered a suspicious death case.
