Nellore: Reiterating that common pilgrims are its first priority, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has stated that it will resume the free slotted sarva darshan (SSD) tokens for common devotees as early as possible.
TTD stated that it has temporarily stalled SSD tokens in view of the spread of the coronavirus. The administration clarified that it recently resumed issuing 3,000 SSD tokens at Tirupati.
TTD said it had compensated for the suspended 3,000 tokens by enhancing the quota of Rs 300 special darshan tickets. It appealed to devotees to cooperate in view of the continued Covid-19 restrictions.
