Kerala floods: Businessman open purse strings for CM fund
Kochi: NRI businessman Yusuffali M.A. has announced a donation of '5 crore to the Chief Minister’s Distress Relief Fund in the wake of devastating natural calamity. “This is one the worst times for Kerala and my heart goes out to the people whose suffering are beyond imagination, Mr Yusuffali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, said.
Managing director of Jyothi Laboratories M.P. Ramachandran has announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to the CMDRF.
The Aster Group has provided a team of 200 persons comprising medical and non-medical volunteers from Aster DM Healthcare’s network of hospitals for relief works. The volunteers have started working with relief centres in Waynad, Erna-kulam, Kozhikode and Malappuram district to conduct medical camps and essential sustenance. The group pledged '50 lakh for relief operations.
