KOLLAM: Condemning the attacks by IS during a prayer meeting held at Anvarssery, PDP Chairman Abdul Nasser Madani said the ideology of the terrorist organisation was a challenge to the ideologies of Islam. “The IS terrorists are killing Islam itself and it is impossible to agree with their ideologies. It is not the method of Islam to kill innocent people. If anyone from the Muslim community goes astray in the path of such activities, they should be isolated. Real believers of Islam could not think of homicide,” Madani said.
Madani, an under-trial prisoner in Bengaluru, who was given eight days’ permission by the Supreme Court to visit his ailing mother in Anvarssery, returned to Bengaluru on Tuesday. Madani is facing custodial trial for the 2008 Bengaluru serial blast case.
