KAKINADA: West Godavari District Collector Karthikeya Misra relieved KR Puram ITDA Project Officer R.V. Suryanarayana from duties following allegations against him by a tribal girl. According to sources, a tribal girl released a video on social media alleging that the officer sexually abused her by promising her to provide a warden job.
The Collector said that an inquiry was ordered into the charges and till then, the official was being relieved of his duties. Jangareddygudem RDO Y.V. Prasanna Lakshmi was given full additional charge of the posts of Project Officer of ITDA and RDO to Kukunur till further orders.
Meanwhile, the same girl released another video in social media that she had levelled the charges under pressure from some persons.
