Hyderabad: A businessman from Mumbai was duped by an Andhra Pradesh gang under the pretext of providing a rice pulling article which, they claimed, would bring him prosperity. The Gachibowli police arrested one person from Vizag and recovered Rs 18 lakh from him. The other three accused are absconding.
Police said, the victim, Jithesh Shantilal Solanki, a businessman from Bandra, Mumbai lodged a complaint on June 6 alleging that a gang had fleeced him of Rs 32 lakh after promising to pay him a commission against selling a rice pulling article.
