KOZHIKODE: The first allotments to the single window admission process of Calicut University will available on Tuesday from 10 am onwards. Those who received allotments should submit a mandatory fee of Rs 425 (for SC/ST Rs 100). The link for the submission of fee will be available at University website from June 13 11 am till June 16. Those who failed to submit fee despite been allotted with seats will lose their chances. They will be out of the further allotment process and cannot re-enter to the process.
Speaking to Deccan Chronicle, Director of Admissions Dr Jose T Puthur said that all arrangements have been done for the smooth allotment process. “This is the fourth year, we are conducting the single window admission process of the degree courses,” he said. He added that more than 1, 20,000 students have been applied through the single window process for over 65,000 seats available in various affiliated colleges under the varsity. Those who are stratified with the allotment must cancel the higher options. In case they are retaining the higher option, they have to join for the higher option if available in the further allotment process. Admit cards will be available for those who got the higher option and those are satisfied with the allotment received.
