Hyderabad: A drunk youth crashed his car into an apartment complex’s compound wall at Marredpally near the north zone DCP’s office early on Sunday.
The apartment complex’s watchman, who saw the incident, said that two drunk couples came out of the car uninjured, and walked off.
Marredpally police said they had not received any complaint about the mishap and did not book a case. We have made a GD entry to find out who the car’s owners are. None came forward to file a complaint,” North Zone DCP B. Sumathi said.
The car, coming from Begumpet side, rammed the wall, went off, crossed the footpath and rammed into a compound wall bringing down a large portion of the wall. A watchman and some others gathered at the spot. One of the locals present at the spot clicked a photograph of the car.
From the photograph clicked by a local resident, police found out that the red swift car, KA 51D 5181, was registered in Karnataka. “We are tracking down the owners of the car,” said the DCP.
