Hyderabad: Cab mows down pedestrian

Hyderabad: A 40-year-old construction worker was killed in an accident at Aramgarh on Friday night.
The mishap occurred when a speeding car hit J. Rambabu who was crossing the road. Police said J. Rambabu, a resident of Station Budwel, had come to Aramgarh on Friday morning for work.
After work, while returning hom, when he reached Aramgarh junction he tried to cross the road, and a speeding car coming from Shams-habad side and going towards Katedan hit him.
Rambabu suffered a serious head injury and died on the spot. The car driver fled after abandoning the vehicle. Police rushed to the spot, and after preliminary inquiries registered a case. A hunt is on to nab the driver.
