P&G India offer AI-enabled learning tool in govt schools
Hyderabad: Procter & Gamble India (P&G India), in collaboration with Educational Initiatives (EI) and State Governments, is implementing 'Mindspark,' an artificial intelligence-enabled remedial learning tool, across 80 government schools in tribal communities in Maharashtra and Telangana, as part of its CSR program, P&G Shiksha.
The 'P&G ShikshaMindspark Labs' integrate pedagogy, teacher instruction, and a learning management system to assess and develop customised learning paths for underprivileged children. This strategic move aims to address learning gaps identified in students, preventing potential dropouts and enhancing educational outcomes.
In a recent event marking International Volunteer Day, LV Vaidyanathan, CEO of P&G India, inaugurated the 'Model P&G ShikshaMindspark Lab' at the Government Ashram School in Bhinar, Maharashtra. Recognising top-performing students, P&G India and EI celebrated the collaboration's positive impact on education in tribal communities.
The program, initiated in 2017 and benefiting over 75,000 children across hundreds of schools, demonstrates tangible success in minimising learning gaps. P&G Shiksha's focus on education aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal 4, contributing to holistic and sustainable development in underserved areas.
