Hydearabad: Parents and relatives along with prospective brides and bridegrooms turned up enthusiastically for the “Vivaha Vedika” conducted by organisers of idontwantdowry website here on Sunday.
According to Satya Naresh, the founder of the website, nearly 150 participants, out of which 90 were males, registered for the programme.
“This was the eleventh year we conducted such an event. While during the previous years, only brides and bridegrooms would attend the event, this time, however, they were accompanied by their parents or relatives. Each participant came on to the stage and gave a brief description about him or herself,” he said.
