Hyderabad: The delegation of Telugu Catholic Bishops Council (TCBC), Synod of Telangana, Telugu Christian Churches and Telangana Federation of Churches on Thursday met Congress general secretary (organisation) K.C. Venugopal in Delhi, and gave him the Christian community declaration’s for political parties. It features 20 requests which the community feels is important enough to be added in the manifestos of political parties.
Fr Raju Alex, deputy secretary, TCBC, “The interaction was promising. The community has always lacked the government’s encouragement and support. The Christian community has a good chunk of voters in Telangana. We will support the parties which stand for us.”
