Kerala government reshuffles bureaucrats again
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government has made another reshuffling of bureaucrats. Food and civil supplies special secretary Sanjay M. Kaul is now industries special secretary and land revenue commissioner M. C. Mohandas the rural development commissioner. I and PRD director Mni Antony was shifted as food and civil supplies special secretary with Kerala State Coastal Area Development MD Dr K. Ampady replacing her with an additional charge.
Rural development commissioner A. T. James was made revenue commissioner with an additional charge of the project director, Kuttanad package, and special officer, Kozhikode airport development. Kerala Tourism Development Corporation MD P. M. Ali Asgar Pasha is now director of SC development department.
Additional secretary (planning and economic affairs) and CPMU director K. N. Satheesh would double as housing commissioner and Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra director. He is also project manager of National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project Kerala. Social justice director Keshvendra Kumar has been posted as mission director of Ayush with the additional charges of food safety commissioner and CEO of Kerala State Homeopathic Cooperative Pharmacy Ltd. He will also continue as National Health Mission director.
P. Balakiran is social justice department director with an additional charge of Kerala State IT Mission director. Housing commissioner S. Karthikeyan has been posted as fisheries department director. He will also have the additional charge of lottery director. Kerala State Nirmithi Kendra director D. Balamurali is additional director tourism with an additional charge of KTDC MD. Fort Kochi sub-collector S. Suhas has is new deputy secretary, planning and economic affairs, and CPMU director.
