CET 2nd round: 1,045 seats up for grabs in Karnataka
Bengaluru: A total of 1,045 seats in 48 colleges for Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani,
Naturopathy & Yoga, B-Pharma courses in government colleges of the state will be up for grabs for the candidates along with the unfilled/surrendered/fortified/cancelled seats for the second round allotment for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) candidates, according to Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
As many as 38,700 students who exercised ‘Choice 2’ and 9,000 students who have picked ‘Choice 3’ in the first allotment will take part in the second round which began on Tuesday.
The first round of allotment for Common Entrance Test candidates had taken place for seats under engineering, architecture, agriculture and veterinary disciplines last month, with results published on June 25.
As per the revised schedule published in the KEA portal, candidates taking part in the second round can modify/delete/re-order options till 11 am on Friday.
The allotment results will be available from Monday while students can pay fees and confirm allotment choices from July 18 to 20. Candidates should report to the colleges before 5.30 pm on July 21, according to the Authority.
Officials suggest candidates refer to the seat matrix and instructions published on http://kea.kar.nic.in. before making a choice.
