Manavath Rai summoned for attacking public servant

HYDERABAD: The Nagarjunasagar police served a summons to JAC (unemployed) leader K. Manavath Rai, asking him to appear before Nidamanoor judicial magistrate for allegedly assaulting a public servant.
The summons comes after Vijaypuri-T police booked Rai under Section 353 of the IPC on April 14. In the summons, the police said that Rai indulged in an offence that is punishable by imprisonment for a term of seven years.
The police said that they served notice under Section 41 A of the CrPC.
