Nirudyoga March on April 15 in Warangal: BJP

WARANGAL: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will organise a ‘Nirudyoga March’ on April 15 with around 10,000 unemployed youth and students demanding that the state government do justice to the students who appeared for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) Group-I examination, said BJP state general secretary G. Premendar Reddy in Hanamkonda on Tuesday.

The BJP leader claimed that the BRS government betrayed the youth who actively participated in the separate Telangana state movement and played a key role in achieving statehood. The BRS government is endangering the lives of innocent students by leaking the question papers from every examination held in the state, he said.

“How can the government decide to conduct the examinations with the same board members if the TSPSC board members responsible for question paper leakage of group examinations are not suspended? How can IT minister, K.T. Rama Rao, announced that two people were involved in the question paper leakage before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) carried out an investigation?” Premendar said.

The BRS government attempted to divert attention away from the TSPSC question paper leakage incident by emphasising other issues. The BJP is planning a Nirudyoga March on April 15 to demand that the state government remove KTR from his position and pay ₹1 lakh ex-gratia to students who took the exams conducted by TSPSC. The march will take place from the Kakatiya University SDLCE campus to Ambedkar Circle, with BJP state chief and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar as the chief guest, along with all other key BJP leaders.

A round table conference will be held on April 13 as part of the preparations for the Nirudyoga march, and a programme of memorandum submission to the Ambedkar statue will be held on April 14, he said. Former minister G. Vijaya Ramarao, district unit president Rao Padma, D. Sadanandam Goud, K. Jithendar Reddy, Prabhakar, K. Vijaya Lakshmi, P. Ravinder Reddy, K. Satyanarayana, Jaipal Reddy and N. Srinivas were among those present.
