Toilets first: This portrayal of Deewar has Narendra Modi cracking up

New Delhi: Advertisements and posters taking a helping hand from movies is nothing new, but a recent poster has been endorsed by none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself.

In yet another example of using social media platform to engage with public, Modi on Tuesday responded to a tweet that had the poster, which spins off a landmark scene from the 1975 Hindi film Deewar, with a Swachh Bharat twist.

While the mother in the movie chooses the righteous brother, the ‘poster mother’ declares that she would live with the brother who builds a toilet first.

Modi couldn’t help cracking up at the poster that was tweeted to him by a follower.
