Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh State Film, TV and Drama Development Corporation chairman Posani Krishna Murali said the grand celebration of Nandi Natakotsavam, a week-long Telugu drama festival, will be held from December 23 to 29. He said the government, led by Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy fully extended cooperation for the Telugu theatre industry and the efforts of the Film, TV and Theater Development Corporation to organize the event at Guntur Sri Venkateswara Vignan Mandir.
Krishna Murali said that 38 drama societies from the state will participate in five categories including poetry drama, social drama, social playlet, children's drama and college or university drama, competing for 115 performances. The event will witness 74 awards across these categories.
