Hyderabad: A fire gutted down a scrap godown at the Katedan industrial area at about 11.45 am on Sunday, Mailardevpally police said on Monday. Four fire tenders were pressed into action and they doused the fire by around 3 am on Monday. There was no loss of life.
By the time locals noticed the fire and called the fire service personnel, the blaze had engulfed the godown. Inquiries revealed that one Raju had been running the godown for the past couple of years.
Though prima facie, an electrical short circuit is said to be the cause of the fire, a probe is underway to find out the exact cause of fire, the police said.
