Gang hacks rowdy to death in Bengaluru
Bengaluru: A rowdy was hacked to death by a gang of assailants at Suddaguntepalya in Mico Layout police station limits on Friday night. The deceased, identified as Sunil, 31, was a resident of Bovi Colony. He was allegedly involved in a murder case and a history sheet was opened against him in Adugodi police station. A dog trainer by profession, Sunil had got married three years ago and has a two-year-old daughter.
According to the police, the alleged incident took place around 9 pm on Saturday, when Sunil had come to meet his friends near a wine shop at Venkateshwara Layout in Suddaguntepalya. While he was waiting for his friends, a gang of four men on two bikes attacked him lethal weapons and sped away. Though, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, he was declared brought dead.
“It is suspected that old rivalry could have led to the murder. We are investigating the case in all angles and special teams have been formed to crack the case,” the police added. Mico Layout police have registered a case.
