Andhra Pradesh HC Adjourns Naidu's Plea for Regular Bail on Skill Scam Case to Nov 15

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh High Court has adjourned the hearing on Telugu Desam president Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s plea for regular bail in the AP skill development corporation scam case, to November 15

A single judge bench of Justice T. Mallikarjuna Rao heard the petition here on Friday.

AP CID’s counsel Vivekananda informed the court that additional advocate general Ponnavolu Sudhakar was unable to attend the court and prayed for adjournment of the case to either November 21 or 22.

The court noted that the hearing on the plea was deferred earlier also but announced that the matter can be taken up for hearing on November 15. CID’s counsel Vivekananda asked for adjourning the case to November 22.

Naidu’s counsel Dammalapati Srinvias raised an objection and submitted that the AP CID, by repeatedly seeking adjournment of the hearing, was breaching the personal liberty of the petitioner.

Naidu has already got interim bail from judicial remand in the AP skill development scam case from October 31 to November 28 on medical grounds.
