Fight back with violence, BJP leader K S Eshwarappa tells cadre
Thrissur: Senior BJP leader from Karnataka K. S. Eshwarappa has sought the permission from the top BJP leadership to give a fitting reply against the attack on its party cadre in the same coin in Kerala. He was speaking at the public meeting organised at Thekkinkkad Maidan in Thrissur on Tuesday as a part Janaraksha Yatra. "Earlier, we were minos in the political sphere, but we are the party ruling the country now. When there is any attack on our partymen, we are told to keep calm and not to give a befitting reply to our political enemies. With our party gaining strength across the country, I want the top leadership to give us permission to meet violence with violence," he said.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who took part in the meeting said that incidents of violence by communists had spiralled in the state and the Jihadi terror groups were thriving in Kerala after CPM came to power. The rally was accorded a welcome at Mannuthy after it entered Thrissur on Tuesday afternoon and a procession was taken out from Mannuthuy to Thrissur town by state leaders. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Minister of state V. K. Singh also took part in the Yatra.
