Bengaluru's Valley school, Indus International schools best in country: survey

While Valley School has topped in the category of “day co-educationâ€, Indus International is the best in the in “day-cum-boarding schoolsâ€.

Bengaluru: The Valley School and Indus International School from Bengaluru have been rated the best in the country by the 10th annual EducationWorld India-C Fore School Rankings (EWISR) 2016.

While Valley School has topped in the category of “day co-education”, Indus International is the best in the in “day-cum-boarding schools”.

The survey covered over 10,300 parents, principals, teachers, academics and, for the first time, senior students, across the country for over four months.

Mallaya Aditi International School has been voted number 3 in “day co-education”. Under the day-cum-boarding schools category, Greenwood High has been voted number 3, while Ebenezer International School stands eighth.

Under the boys’ day schools, Bishop Cotton’s Boys School is ranked ninth.
In the co-education boarding school category, Jain International Residential School has been ranked number 3, and under the boys boarding school category, Sarala Birla Academy has bagged the fifth spot.

Under the international school category, several schools from the city are among the top 10. Under the category of international day-cum-boarding schools, Stonehill International School is at the eighth spot, while Greenwood High is at number 10.

Under the special needs schools, Asha Kiran has been ranked number 3. The Academy for Severe Handicaps and Autism is at number 7, Bubbles Centre for Autism is at number 11 and Bethany Special School at number 14.

Ashwini Public School of the city has secured the eighth place in the budget private schools category. New Blossoms Education Society is at number 13, Nandini Public School at number 18, Sun Rise Public School at number 19 and Shri Shyla Vidya Samste is at number 21.
