Warangal: Second year Intermediate student Madipeddi Umesh died at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Sunday after he was injured during a fight with one Bhuvanagiri Praveen, a student doing Intermediate first year in the same college.
Both the boys are residents of the boys’ hostel of a private college in Jangaon.
Jangaon circle inspector Srinivas said Umesh’s brother Venkat filed a complaint against Praveen and the college management. Both the students belong to Peddamadugu village.
The boys got involved in a fight in the hostel on June 30 during which Umesh fell on a stone and suffered a severe injury on the back of his head. He was in coma at the private hospital in Hyderabad where he was admitted. He died on Sunday.
Police said they are investigating the case.
