Namaste Mumbai! Thank you for the dosa experience, William said after trying the south-Indian snack.

Mumbai: Duke of Cambridge Prince William on Monday tried his hand at 'preparing' the favourite South Indian snack dosa after launching the Tech Rocketship Awards in Mumbai.

A Bengaluru-based startup has invented the Dosamatic, which has made it really easy to make the snack and both Kate and William tried their hand at the appliance.

William gladly poured some batter and waited for the dosa to cook before tasting a bit and declaring it "not bad". Although the Duchess did not seem very impressed with his culinary skills and could not be tempted with a bite. She instead chose to watch in amusement as the Prince ate the dosa from his plate.
