Gandhi hospital in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A woman and her unborn child died in state-run hospital on Friday. She had been referred to the Government Maternity Hospital, Petlaburj by Niloufer Hospital and a Caesarean Section was scheduled for Friday.
When she complained of breathlessness, she was rushed to the Osmania Hospital, a short distance away. She died before OGH doctors could start treating her.
The death of the foetus was classified as an “intra- uterine death”. Family welfare commissioner Vakati Karuna expressed displeasure at the deaths.
