Two from Chikkamagaluru held for human trafficking

Bengaluru: Central Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have arrested two people involved in human trafficking and prostitution in Yelahanka.

The accused have been identified as Sudheer (33) and Suchan Gowda (29), both hailing from Chikkamagluru district.

 

They allegedly trafficked girls from different states and forced them into flesh trade.

Police said the accused brought girls to the city by promising jobs and good salary, but used to force them into prostitution.

According to the police, the accused had booked a room in Ramanna Garden on Baglur Main Road from where they were running the racket. Based on a tip-off,
police raided the lodge and rescued three girls.

The accused were arrested, and cash, mobile phones were recovered from them. Yelahanka police have registered a case and begun investigation.
