IIM Kozhikode grad gets Rs 37 lakh offer
KOZHIKODE: The Indian Institute of Management- Kozhikode has successfully wrapped up its final placements for the 19th post-graduate batch of 2015- 17. There was an increase in the number of first-time recruiters visiting the campus and students being offered niche jobs. Around 107 recruiters participated in the final placements and 343 offers were given . The highest domestic salary was Rs 37 lakh per annum. The number of pre-placement offers saw a rise of 15.15 percent over last year.
The average annual compensation was Rs 17.14 lakh per annum. Accenture Strategy, BCG, Deloitte, EY, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, McKinsey, PwC were among the major companies that hired the students. "Prof. Kulbhushan Balooni, director (in-charge) of IIM-Kozhikode, said, "this is a remarkable achievement for IIM when the Indian Economy may not have achieved its full potential yet. This has been made possible by the work of the IIM-K community," he added.
The maximum number of companies came for the first time to the campus, including, Aspect Ratio, Evanssion, Feedback Infra, Infosys Management Consulting, Kalyan Group, Korn Ferry Hay Group, Microland and Payoneer. All these companies were able to source good talents from the institution. Mr Balooni said that the students were offered diverse roles, including consulting, sales and marketing and finance.
