The health minister visited the dialysis centre in Haripuram village and viewed the ongoing construction of a 200-bed super specialty hospital and kidney research center at Palasa.

Addressing patients and the locals, the minister said chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy was effecting revolutionary changes in the medical and health sector with a noble mission to provide healthcare to the poorest of the poor.

“The chief minister has fulfilled the election promises he made to the Uddanam people suffering from kidney ailments. He sanctioned a ₹10,000 monthly pension, provided dialysis centers with a provision of nephrologists and we are building a super specialty hospital,’’ Rajani pointed out.

The government is also making the provision for drinking water through a project costing ₹700 crore, she noted.
