Chennai: A Regional Conference of Chief Electoral Officers and State Police Nodal Officers of the States of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Union Territories of Puducherry, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep was held on Thursday to review important aspects of poll preparedness for General Elections to the Lok Sabha in 2024.
Organised by the Election Commission of India and hosted by the Chief Electoral Officer, Tamil Nadu, at Hotel Radisson Blu, GST Road, Chennai the Conference was attended by Dharmendra Sharma, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner.
Among the others who participated were Director General, IIIDEM, i Nitesh Vyas, Senior Deputy Election Commissioner, Manoj Kumar Sahoo, Deputy Election Commissioner and other Senior officials from Election Commission of India, Chief Electoral Officers and State Police Nodal Officers.
