Hyderabad: Justice Nanda of the Telangana High Court on Monday directed the TS Southern Power Distribution Company Ltd to respond to a writ petition challenging the withholding of electricity supply to agricultural field in Kodada village.
An aggrieved farmer, Mallu Govind Reddy, contending that in spite of payment of a requisite fee for a new connection for a borewell, the TSSPDCL had failed to provide electricity even after five years. The matter will be heard on Wednesday.
