Hyderabad: In the follow-up to the mysterious Pahadishareef murder case, it has been found that the 7-year-old boy was possibly sodomised before he was murdered on Wednesday night. The Balapur police, who registered a case of murder and unnatural offence(section 377 of the IPC), have formed two special teams to nab the accused.
According to the sources, the family of the victim Mohd Yaseen migrated to the city from Yadgir, Karnataka about 11 months ago and has been living in Wadi-e-Mustafa thereafter. Yaseen was the third child of Mohammed Basha and Naseem Bhanu.
When Basha returned home from work around 8.30 pm on Wednesday, Yaseen asked him for some money to buy the soft drink Frooti. Thereafter, he went ahead to buy the soft drink from a nearby grocery store but did not return for a long time.
Subsequently, Basha and other locals launched into a search for Yaseen, when a woman heard a boy screaming in the distance. She reportedly even saw a man emerging out of a shady area and fleeing from the scene, so she alerted the police immediately. The police then reached the spot and found the boy dead with bleeding injuries on his face and his pants partially pulled down. Therefore, the boy is suspected to have been sodomised by the accused before being beaten to death.
Following this discovery, the police registered a case under section 377 and 302 of the IPC, and have formed two special teams to trace the suspects.
