Kottayam: Youth Front (M) state president Saji Manjakadambill has alleged that Poonjar legislator P.C. George is spreading baseless allegations against him for demanding stringent action against the MLA in a case in which he allegedly attacked a canteen employee. “Mr George through his Facebook page is alleging that I have conspired against him. He is also insulting and threatening the Youth Front (M) Kottayam district president Prasad Urulikunnam and me through his Facebook page,” Mr Saji alleged at a press meet on Thursday.
He said that he had lodged a complaint against Mr George with the Crime Branch IG and the Kottayam district police chief regarding Mr George’s threat. Mr Saji alleged that the Poonjar legislator also insulted his family in the post. Youth Front (M) Kottayam district president Prasad Urulikunnam and secretary Shaine Joseph were present at the meet.
