Implement 6 Gs Before LS Polls: Bandi to Govt

Karimnagar: Though the state government is fully aware of the imposition of the poll code in the state for the parliament elections likely to be held in March or April, it is intentionally buying time in the name of digitisation and scrutiny of Abhaya Hastham applications, alleged Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

He demanded the implementation of the Congress promises before the polls.
The BJP national general secretary visited Venkatpally in Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district as part of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Programme on Tuesday. He interacted with the local residents and enquired whether they were aware of various welfare schemes introduced by the Central government.

Sanjay alleged that the BJP had been giving constructive suggestions to the government. If the Congress government behaves arrogantly by indulging in counter-attacking, the people will teach the same fitting lesson they taught to the BRS government, he said.

He said it was the responsibility of the state government to explain to the people how it would clear the debts and fulfil its poll promises. In the past 10 years, not even a single new ration card was issued. If the Congress government is going to implement the Six Guarantees based on food security cards, it should issue ration cards to poor families first to do justice for them.

The state needs Central funds to become debt-free to implement the schemes. As all surveys are predicting a hat-trick for the BJP at the Centre, more BJP MPs need to be elected from the state to get more funds for the state, he said.

Sanjay demanded the immediate appointment of cleaning staff at schools which have been in unhygienic conditions and lack of basic facilities.

On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lakshadweep visit, Sanjay said that fearing the ‘Boycott Maldives’ movement by the Indians, the Maldives government suspended its ministers for making derogative remarks against Modi, which marked the unity of India to other countries, he stressed.
