Chennai: MIOT International, for the fifth time (since 2005), was recognised by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) for being the best service provider in the southern region.

The award, given to the hospital, after scrutinising and considering various parameters, including export turnover, presence in emerging markets, product diversification and the like, was given by Nirmala Sithraman, minister of state for commerce and industry,  who was the chief guest on the occasion of FIEO’s Southern Region Export Excellence Awards and Golden Jubilee celebrations.

On the occasion, Dr A. “The southern region has contributed 23 per cent of India’s total exports and it is the second largest exporting region after the Western region,” he added.
