Minister Prashanth Reddy narrowly escapes from fire mishap

HYDERABAD: Minister V. Prashanth Reddy narrowly escaped from a fire mishap that was sparked when BRS activists burst crackers during the Telangana state formation celebrations. The incident occurred at Puranipet in Bheemgal mandal of Nizamabad district on Thursday.

The firecrackers fell on tents set up for the programme, which caught fire. Local residents extinguished the flames and no one was injured. Minister Prashanth Reddy said that it was a minor incident and there was no need to exaggerate it.

BRS leaders clearly have not learnt their lessons from past incidents of fire accidents during their celebrations. In Khammam district, two persons were killed and 10 persons injured when crackers set off a fire.
