SAY to be held from June 10-17

The last date for applying revaluation, scrutiny of answer papers and obtaining photocopies of answer sheets is May 15.

Thiruvananthapuram: Save a Year (SAY) and improvement examinations for higher secondary will be conducted from June 10 to June 17, according to the notification issued on Wednesday.

The last date for applying revaluation, scrutiny of answer papers and obtaining photocopies of answer sheets is May 15.

Candidates can apply now, and the link for the same will be open till May 17. Kerala Plus One (class 11) examination results 2018 will be declared by May last. The plus one, plus two and all classes will begin on June 3.

The student who registered and appeared for the first time in the higher secondary education and failed to obtain sufficient grade for a pass in any subject can apply for SAY and obtain D+ and above in such subjects.

Those who appeared as old syllabus candidates and obtained D+ or above in five subjects and remained ineligible in one subject can appear for the SAY examination to become eligible for higher studies.

Old syllabus candidates who remain ineligible for more than one subject cannot apply for SAY examinations. These students who appeared for the exams for the first time and obtained D+ or above in all subjects can also appear for anyone subject at the SAY or improvement examinations as to improve the grade obtained in that subject.

Students’ can also apply for revaluation, photocopy or scrutiny of subjects except for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The cutoff date for submission for the submission of application is May 15. The uploading link for the same will be available to the schools till May 17.
