Telangana: Online Jee main-2016 to be held today and on Sunday
Hyderabad: After the successful completion of the offline examination on April 3, the online JEE Main-2016 exam will be held on April 9 and 10.
Nearly 6,000 candidates will be appearing for the exam to be held at various centres in the city including CBIT, Narayanamma Engineering College, Institute of Aeronautical Engineering, Dundigul, Vignan Engineering College and Ghatkesar. Candidates had the option of writing the exam either in the morning slot (9.30 to 12.30 pm) or afternoon slot (2 to 5 pm).
According to IIT experts from the city, online exam is the least preferred choice for a student which is why the number candidates is low most of the time. Candidates will be preparing in offline pattern throughout the two-years of their plus two education. Hence, they prefer offline mode even for the main exam, they said. It may be mentioned here that nearly 59,000 candidates appeared for the offline test this year.
