Pawan demands 33% reservation for women

HYDERABAD: Jana Sena founder K. Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday demanded that 33 percent reservation be given to women in legislatures and in all sectors.
Speaking on the occasion of International Women’s Day, he declared that Jana Sena has included women's reservation in its election plan and he would continue his efforts for achieving the same.

"My political efforts will continue with sincerity in achieving reservations for women,” the JS chief maintained.

In a statement, Pawan Kalyan underlined that governments should pay special attention to empowering women, so that they can live with dignity.

He demanded measures be taken to create a society where there is no violence against women.

"We wish women full empowerment," he added.
