Osmania General Hospital scrambles, repairs overflowing drain

Hyderabad: The overflowing drainage near the out-patient block of Osmania General Hospital was repaired on a priority basis on Thursday morning. Dr Nagendra, hospital superintendent, said, “We are going to ensure that sanitation is maintained in the hospital and these problems will be rectified on a war-footing. Pipes have been replaced and the area has been cleaned.” Rajeshwar Tiwari, principal secretary, has insisted that sanitation in all hospitals must be maintained and superintendents and department heads have to ensure that the premises are clean.
