Osmania University VC apprised of vacancies
In a review meeting with senior faculties, the need to link with the industries to facilitate placements, internships for students was highlighted.
Hyderabad: Osmania University vice-chancellor (in-charge) Arvind Kumar on Wednesday sought to institutionalise the internship programmes with various bodies including T-Hub.
In a review meeting with the senior faculties, the need to link with the industries to facilitate placements, internships for students was highlighted.
The senior faculty members also apprised the vice-chancellor on the vacancies that are there in various departments and also the funding and infrastructure which is become a major bone of contention for the University.
A senior professor explained, “The OU requires good students who study and for that a culture and atmosphere like that must be created. This would require filling up the vacancies in all departments.”
