ADILABAD/ KARIMNAGAR: All projects including Yellampally on the Kale-shwaram network and Kadam and Kumarambheem in Adilabad are brimming with water.
As part of the Kaleshwaram project, the Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla barrages were receiving huge inflows from the Pranahitha and the Godavari due to the rain in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh upstream.
Officials did not release water from these projects.
Officials lifted 10 gates of the Yellampally irrigation project and released the water into the Godavari. The Yellampally project was receiving inflow of 41,145 cusecs and the same was being let out of the project.
