Chennai: Chennai-based Balaji Dental and Carniofacial Hospital, which treats those suffering from deformities of skull and face, has been chosen as the Asian affiliate partner of the renowned World Carniofacial Foundation, Dallas in Texas.
Having successfully treated Egyptian twin boys, who were born with their heads joined since birth, World Carniofacial Foundation, founded and led by surgeon Dr. Kenneth Salyer, MD, have a claim to the only successful operation in separating conjoined twins.
“We have signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) and formed an alliance with them, thus making us their Asian affiliate partner,” Dr Balaji said.
Mr Vincent Meriton, Vice President of Seychelles, also visited Balaji Dental and Carniofacial hospital, to strengthen the bilateral ties in medical field.
