Hospital not responding, says Nikhil Reddy
Hyderabad: Global Hospitals said that it had not received any communication from the Telangana State Medical Council regarding the two-year suspension of Dr Chandra Bhushan in the height increasing surgery case of Mr Nikhil Reddy and that it was made aware of the developments only through the media.
The hospital said in a statement on Sunday that it strongly believed in offering the best of treatment and care to all its patients and that it would stand true to its commitment to treat Mr Nikhil Reddy with the best of doctors till he recovered.
However, Mr Reddy alleged on Sunday that the hospital was ignoring his healthcare needs. He said, “Dressing has to be done on the wounds at least once in five-six days. But it has been 11 says since the last dressing. When we called up the hospital they said that as Dr Bhushan had been placed under suspension they were yet to arrange a doctor. The wound is itching, there has been bleeding and there are chances of infection.” There was no response from the hospital regarding the allegations made by Mr Reddy.
