Hyderabad: Around 100 drivers of the Greater Hyderabad Private Ambulance Owners Association on Friday pledged to donate their eyes. They celebrated the event in front of Gandhi Hospital by cutting a cake. M. Suresh, association president, said, “We are hoping this message will reach other ambulance owners as well the general public and they too will come forward to pledge their organs.” Qadir, general secretary, said, “We usually get to watch the pain of the sufferers and their families. By coming forward to donate organs, we are sending a message to the world.”
