We have to create our opportunities: Gudivada Amarnath

Vishakapatnam: “We have to create opportunities ourselves,” said Industries and IT Minister Gudivada Amarnath as he inaugurated the 'She Creates' programme organised by Infinitum Media in partnership with Google at AU Convention Center in Beach Road on Thursday evening.

“Every person has a unique talent and strength,” he said and cited the creativity of youth during the times of COVID, to create their own employment opportunities.

He expressed the hope that Visakhapatnam would become a platform to endorse creative ideas. 300 YouTube channels by women and young women were started from Vizag, which was a sign of good development, he said.

Infinitum company has been invited to start its operations from Visakhapatnam.

The minister said necessary support from the state government will be provided. Similar programmes would likely be undertaken in cities like Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Guntur and Tirupati.

The head of Infinitum, Vandana Bandaru, claimed that he began his business career in Visakhapatnam. “They are prepared to motivate young people.”

He claimed that women would be employed as digital content producers in order to give them more economic power.

According to MD Satyadev Chadha, young people are the future since they are generating chances and jobs with their own ideas.

Later, the minister started Alaknanda, Amulya, and Nanditha YouTube channels.
