People favour UDF hartal: Oommen Chandy

Kottayam: The harthal declared by the UDF on October 16th is desired by the people of the state, said former chief minister Oomen Chandy. Addressing the concluding session of the ‘Rapakal’ strike in Kottayam, Mr Chandy said that the UDF declared the harthal following the anti-people policies of the Central and state governments. He said that the public opinion favours harthal. DCC President Joshy Philip presided over the meeting. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, MLA, among others were present on the occasion.
