VIJAYAWADA: Minister for energy and mines Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy directed the officials to explore all avenues for getting coal to be used for thermal power plants in the state.
In a review meeting held with the officials here on Tuesday, the minister stated that AP mineral development corporation was ready to handle coal mines in other states in the country as it was already doing so in Madhya Pradesh. He called for submitting proposals to the state government to fill up vacant posts in the energy department in the aftermath of the restructuring of the districts in the state.
