Nellore: Health minister Dr K. Srinivas has inaugurated the newly built OP and Casualty blocks in the hospital at an estimated cost of Rs 8.89 crore on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, he said they have sanctioned 84 primary health centres for the state.
He claimed that special care is being taken to improve hygienic conditions in the hospitals. He said they have increased the number of dialysis machines to 620 as against 170 in the past.
Chirala legislator Amanchi Krishnamohan has appealed the minister to sanction a superintendent, four civil surgeon and one assistant civil surgeon posts.
